higher quality ♦ better control unit ♦ more powerful ♦ more aesthetic
This machine sells itself — but only if you could physically stand on one right now. Just seeing it online is less convincing. The real selling point of a truly linear whole-body-vibration machine isn’t faster muscle recovery, forced lymph flow increasing whole body detox effects, or anything conceptual. It’s something that can only be experienced: it’s the way it makes you feel…
So you’re standing on this vibrating steel plate for the first time…What does it feel like?
You step both feet onto it. It’s overwhelming at first. Very intense.
…You’re surprised this intensity doesn’t seem like it will give you a headache or upset your stomach. After that first moment, your body realizes this experience isn’t a danger, and the initial overwhelm dissolves into deep relaxation. Your body seems to know what to do: automatically, you take a deep breath and exhale slowly.
…You stretch your back, neck, shoulders, arms. You discover that the vibration intensity focuses into different areas of your body as you move: lower-back, upper-back, shoulders, neck, head, chest, core… Your body is a tuning fork.
…Learning to control this tuning effect is effortless: natural, slight movements in your knees, spine, and neck, to either distribute the vibration evenly over your entire body, or focus it mostly in one area.
…Like a professional full-body massage, the relaxation can be so consuming that time disappears: “Wow, fifteen minutes already!?…felt like only five.”
…Time’s up. The motor stops spinning. The sudden absence of vibration reveals the best experience yet: a surge of circulation, even a slight tingling sensation all over, from your toes to your scalp, which isn’t noticeable while the machine is on. This circulation surge takes about 5 minutes to fully develop. The longer you use the machine, the more amazing this sudden contrast will feel. It’s kind of a floating sensation. If falling onto a cloud were possible, this is what it would feel like.
…This sensation is your blood and lymph fluids flowing in a revitalizing symphony. The closest thing to this might be jogging for a mile, then abruptly stopping and everything’s “flowing” ‒ you’re more energized now than when you started. But unlike “runner’s high” after a VIBRATATION session, rather than breathing harder, you feel less of a need to breathe, or like you don’t need to breathe at all…
Can oxygen utilization be so improved that at the end of a session, you stand there, motionless, feeling fully recharged: “…wow…I don’t even need to breathe…”
Does this surge of circulation make you feel like jumping and sprinting in mindless obedience to an eruption of energy, like a kid on a sugar-high?
Will some muscles become visibly larger from only one vibration session per day for a few days in a row — kind of a sustained “pump”?
Can your number of reps-to-fatigue increase because of lifting during a vibe session? Yes, to all of the above.
A VIBRATATION session can be a kind of meditation. Because it’s so intensely relaxing, it has a way of clearing your mind, whether you had any desire to “meditate” or couldn’t care less about such a thing.
It’s a sort of forced-mediation, requiring no inclination toward mental clarity. Like any real medicine: you get the benefit whether you expected it or not. This aspect of WBV, more than any other benefit, is what inspired me to set out on a journey to build a better machine. Whole-body vibration is an experience everyone on the planet should know.
Lower cost ‒ simple design, with durable, high-quality materials.
Performance ‒ vibration intensity is comparable to much heavier and more expensive machines, yet it’s exceptionally monotone, or pleasant sounding. This is achieved by a clever mechanism that isolates the entire structure, in the same way that some buildings are isolated for earthquake protection.
Stainless ‒ no paint or any coatings to wear down or chip off. And because the entire platform is an electrical conductor (304 or “18/8 food grade” stainless steel), Can be used as a grounding or “earthing” surface. You can easily combine the real benefits of earth-grounding with your WBV sessions.
Portable ‒ weighs only 49 pounds. Because of the relatively light weight, if you step completely off while the motor’s running, the machine will slightly bounce itself and slowly drift around on a smooth floor. The platform legs serve as handles, allowing you to bring the mass of the machine against your chest, making it easier to carry, when necessary.
Convenient ‒ a push-button timer switch with LED indicators allows you to turn off the machine at any time, or increase or decrease the session time. Completely silent, no beeping noises to disturb your intensely relaxing vibe sessions.

Whole Body Vibration is an extremely powerful anti-stress tool. The vibration is very intense — all of your mental focus will be pushed out of your mind and into your body. Serious relaxation. Similar to but more intense than a full-body massage.
It “pumps up” muscle tissue like you’ve been lifting weights, just by standing still. And more pump than you’ve ever felt before, if you lift weights while vibrating (with or without supplementing creatine).
Everybody knows how jogging for 5 or 10 minutes makes you feel energized like “everything’s flowing.” But VIBRATATION goes far beyond that. Immerse yourself in Runner’s High without jogging for 30 minutes and without losing all your energy to reach that “flow state”. There is no exercise that comes close to achieving the immensely energized feeling created by a few minutes of intense vibration. Rebounding on a trampoline, doesn’t cause even 1/10th of this incredible effect.
Increases circulation while conserving energy. It’s a zero-energy pre-workout that also forces your mind and body into Zen-mode otherwise known as Runner’s High.
Like any real medicine, you get the benefit whether you expect it or not: whole body vibration is intensely relaxing: forces you out of your mind and into your body. That’s a big deal. “Turning your brain off” is the foundation of relaxing and healing.
When the timer switches off, you will stand there feeling a pulsating, slightly tingling even electric “energy” sensation throughout your body. It sounds like sales talk, but it’s real and exactly like that. This is repeatable. After years of use, I feel this same magic every time. You will stand there, amazed, focused on this new feeling, and all you can think is “this is crazy, I feel like I don’t even need to breathe” for about half a minute anyway. This experience shows how body-vibration (with enough intensity, and near a frequency that’s useful) affects tissues, blood, lymph, and/or lungs simultaneously. Which one causes that feeling? Probably lymph; but to my knowledge a specific medical study hasn’t been done yet to prove that. I’m working on this; and I’ve been told by a bio-med PhD at my former university:
“…the pulsing sensation that you feel after being on the machine for 5 minutes then off, is probably not related to lymph flow which is normally not something that anyone feels. My guess is that it may be a phantom nerve phenomenon, that the brain and nervous system creates, after being mechanically stimulated so vigorously for several minutes. When nerves are mechanically over stimulated, they can release chemicals that can cause strange sensations, and even numbness and euphoria. Maybe it is something like this that is happening.
…look for changes in the level of endorphins, cortisol, adrenaline, or other hormones… might be a start to characterizing the sensation as a neuro-effect, if indeed this is what it is. It could be phenomenon similar to runners high when the body is pushed to high levels of stress or mechanical stimulation, the nerves release the right substances to calm the system, and make it easier to push through a physical barrier. Good luck in characterizing this effect Sean, odds are it is related to nerves rather than lymph.”
Indeed, nerve-related effects would explain why whole body vibration (at sufficient intensity and an effective frequency around 30 hertz) is so extremely relaxing. It is affecting your nerves, obviously; and in a way that’s not very different from a typical whole body massage. Massively increased lymph-flow could explain back-pain relief caused by vibration training, by improving lymph flow through the kidneys, but this is more speculative than what the bio-med scientist mentioned above, pertaining only to the euphoria / relaxation experience.
There are many established and speculated benefits, including:
massively reduced incidence of feet or legs falling asleep (parasthesia); increased bone density (NASA), increased blood flow (to all tissues); increased lymph flow (detox); reducing facial bone loss (anti-aging). See articles in the Vibratation Blog.
What does it not do?
doesn’t cause weight loss. Anybody who says that is just making up BS to sell products. Exercising while on the machine, yeah sure, but not just standing there relaxing, losing your thoughts into a breathless, pulsating steel-colored cloud of whole body vibration. The weight-loss market is huge and tempts people to make nonsense claims to get easy money selling cheap equipment. Vibratation is expensive to make. But still, the price is lower than competing high-end WBV machines for two reasons: #1 I don’t pay Google for expensive ads, and #2 don’t have any re-sellers or marketers as middle-men, raising the price.
No handle bars that just get in your way. Most vibration platforms, have support rails about three feet tall. But handlebars are a burden, limiting motion. You don’t need bars that get in the way of stretching, squats, and lifting weights. VIBRATATION improves balance, but not if you’re leaning on supports.
No digital display panel to raise the price without adding useful value. Just press a button and vibrate.
VIBRATATION specs:
performance ‒ vibration intensity is comparable to much heavier and more expensive machines, and makes a fairly loud but monotone, soothing sound. The smooth sound and shape of the wave is achieved by an elegant mechanism that isolates the entire structure, in the same way modern buildings are isolated for earthquake protection
stainless ‒ beautiful, no paint or any coatings to wear down or scratch off. Because the entire platform is an electrical conductor (304 stainless steel, also called “18-8”), it can be used as an “earthing” surface
portable ‒ weighs 52 pounds. Because of the light weight, if you step off while the power is on, the machine will vibrate itself slowly drifting randomly around on a smooth floor. The platform legs serve as handles, allowing you to bring the mass of the machine against your chest, making it easier to carry, or attach resistance bands as an alternative to free-weights

Do a quick search on YouTube for “whole body vibration machine” and just about EVERY video shows awkward yoga-type positions or stepping on and off the machine with shoes on, etc.
But the only useful positions are based on standing up straight without thick shoes on. That’s the only way to reach the “WBV effect” which is very similar to Runner’s High.
Let’s look at positions that don’t work and then cover positions that are perfect for WBV exercise:
Positions that don’t work: Dozens of strange positions that seem to mix yoga and WBV, but don’t get you the WBV effects.
